The Castle in the Park

An evening talk by Terry Carlysle

Thursday, 15 November at 18:30. Tickets £5 per person. Book online now

Without the arrival of the Normans in Chichester, would Priory Park exist today? Although the Norman castle, built on the site we now know as Priory Park, was in existence for only some 130 years and has little obvious physical remains its history is well worth discovering.

Terry Carlysle is a local historian and a member of the Friends of Priory Park within which society minutes she is listed as representing the castle! She is also a member of the Chichester Local History Society.
