This piece explores the life of the mystery warrior through four sets of imagery that are integrated into the layers of a circle. Depicted in the centre is the skull of a warrior that is strong and intact. Surrounding the skull are patterns of the warrior's ornamented helmet, a portrayal of his vocation that illustrates his life. His status as a warrior endowed meaning and purpose; however, it also separated him from his community. Beyond that are depictions of vessels, a collection of different pots to represent the warrior's community. Although the warrior's origin is unknown, the pots, just like those in the warrior's life came together for the final celebration of his life and burial. Although the pots are separated from the warrior by his vocation, they distantly support and shape him. The final layer is a map, a depiction of the lands the warrior travelled throughout his life.

These four sets of imagery were painted and then covered in a layer of small glass beads. Just how the skeleton of the warrior is separated from the viewer behind glass, this piece will mirror that. In another repetition of that detail, the hollow beads reflect the warrior's own bones, full of tiny holes.
