Sage House Project

University of Chichester Fine Art students Katherine Etheridge and Jade Guest worked with the art group at Sage House, a community hub designed to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for people living with dementia as well as their family and carers, to find ways of using Iron Age imagery and craftsmanship as inspiration in making new artwork. They chose ways of working that connected the present and the past, utilising techniques such as weaving and the making of ceramic pots and tiles, as well as a series of beautiful prints based on some of the Iron Age objects and patterns in the exhibition.
