The Novium Museum's Mystery Warrior exhibition interested me right from the start and I knew that I could create something really unique for my project. Most of my previous pieces relate to the style of Graphic Novels and Comic Books, so I decided to use those skills to create a fun comic strip. I thought that it would be a way to shine a positive light on the Mystery Warrior, giving an insight into the way he might have lived and enabling him to be viewed as a hero in a fun and interactive way. The process was simple. Using information about the Mystery Warrior and the Iron Age I came up with a short story line and then using acrylic paints, I made that story come alive. My main focus was to make it eye catching and accessible for all age groups. I also used an app called ProCreate to paint my own interpretation of the Warrior, which I then made into postcards. These can be found in the museum shop, and can be a small souvenir for you to take home with you. I hope that my artwork has caught your attention, bringing some happiness and colour into your day!
