Ovid with Reverb
Friday 2nd June 2023, 6pm at The Novium Museum
Poetry and sound project Ovid with Reverb perform, recite, update, distort, interpret and generally play with poems by the great Roman poet Ovid in translation by the great English poets John Dryden and Christopher Marlowe. Ovid with Reverb features Lorrain Baggaley on vocals and Steve Rushton on Bo Diddley beat percussion and vocals. Poems adapted and written by Steve Rushton.
His recent collection, Preface Metamorphoses (erbacce-press 2022) and an international Arts Council funded collaborative book Various Wanted (Timpul 2021) will be available to buy at the event.
