Creating world-building franchises based on books. Emma Topping, executive producer and entertainment lawyer, takes us behind the camera to explore how books are adapted to create multiverses where films, series, stage productions, theme parks and experiential events, video games and consumer products complementarily collide, transforming original literary intellectual properties and bringing these new iterations to audiences old and new.
